Concentration is determined from the light decay time.

In the optical cavity, the laser beam travels effective kilometers in a compact volume. The rate of light decay allows measuring molecular signatures with high sensitivity, stability and selectivity.

What is CRDS technology?

CRDS stands for Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy. The technique measures the decay time of light in a high-reflectivity optical cavity to determine absorption and calculate the concentration or isotopic composition of the sample.

What gases can be measured?

The configurations presented cover CO₂, CH₄, N₂O, NH₃, H₂O and H₂O₂, as well as specific isotope ratios of carbon, water and nitrous oxide, depending on the model.

Which models analyze water isotopes?

The L2130-i and L2140-i models are designed for water isotope analysis. The L2140-i adds δ¹⁷O and ¹⁷O-excess in compatible configurations.

What does the Picarro G2508 measure?

The G2508 simultaneously measures N₂O, CH₄, CO₂, NH₃ and H₂O and can be applied to greenhouse gas studies, soil gas flux measurements and environmental monitoring.

Can continuous and discrete samples be analyzed?

Yes. The configuration may include continuous sampling, vials, syringes, gas bags, flasks, multiple lines and liquid water, depending on the analyzer and selected accessories.
