Technology

A compact optical core to measure gases with molecular selectivity.

The MIRA platform uses lasers in the mid-infrared region where the absorption lines of many gases are more intense than in the near infrared, favoring specific and sensitive measurements.

Mid-IR + multipass cell + low consumption

The concept combines long optical path, 60 cm3 cell and proprietary electronics for quick response, sensitivity and portable operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about the Aeris MIRA analyzers.

Information to compare technology and start setting selection.

What is the Aeris MIRA line?

It is a family of trace-gas analyzers based on direct absorption spectroscopy with tuneable lasers in the middle infrared. The platform combines compact multipass cell, low consumption and real-time acquisition.

What is the difference between MIRA Pico, MIRA Ultra and MIRA Strato?

THE MIRA Pico prioritizes portability and autonomy; MIRA Ultra adds temperature stabilized core for prolonged measurements and is available in portable versions and rackmount; MIRA Strato prioritizes low weight and integration with drones or mobile platforms.

What gases can be measured?

The line offers settings for CH4, CO2, N2O, CO, OCS, C2H6, C2H2, CH2O, C6H6, EtO, C3H8 and H2O. Availability varies according to model and species combination.

THE MIRA Strato can be integrated into drones?

Yes. Strato is designed for aerial and mobile applications, weighs 2 kg with Batteries and offers mounting points, GPS, internal storage and Batteries power or drone.

How to define the appropriate analyzer?

The selection should consider target gas, expected concentration, interfering, humidity, pressure, flow, response time, autonomy and installation form. SENS evaluates these data to indicate the model and sampling configuration.
